A Multi-Artist Vibe Coding Jam

Rip Space presented SYNTHESIS ASSEMBLY, an evening of live performance, improvisation, sound, coding, and collaborative AI systems. The program explored hybrid ecologies through encounters between human and machine, organic and synthetic processes, field recording, feedback, movement, jazz, and generative tools.

Drawing from ecological systems, improvisational practice, open-source software, and AI platforms, the program approached synthesis as a process of negotiation between unlike but interconnected parts.

The evening centered on a series of multimedia performances and a collaborative vibe coding jam, using prompt-based AI systems to approach coding as an intuitive and improvisational practice. Rather than emphasizing technical expertise, the format opened software development toward experimentation, co-creation, and new possibilities for what digital systems can produce.
